Stephanie Kasun, of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, is a true go-getter.

In the late summer and early fall, she hammering the uphills on Emerald Mountain and bombing, at full speed, back downtown.

In the winter, she’s fully immersed in the white room. Whether it’s waking up at 6:30 am to be the first making turns in Shadows/Closest at Steamboat Resort on a powder morning, or trekking uphill for some sunset laps up on Rabbit Ears – she is there, doing it all and doing it well.

Does she slow down during the Spring time? HELL NO. She is out there with the boys club of the Yampa River and hitting the river almost every afternoon after her shifts end at Hala GearSpace.

When I first met Steph, I was pretty intimidated. How could such a tiny little woman have so much energy? How is she not scared of failure? How is she not scared of hurting herself?

The more I got to know her, the more I realized that YES absolutely she is one athletic ripper. There isn’t anything she can’t do. BUT, she does get fearful. We all do.

How does she get over this fear? Simple. She uses the right gear.

By protecting her knees, the most vulnerable body part in any of these adrenaline-pumping sports, Steph has the confidence to go out and do literally whatever she wants. It’s 2019, y’all. Who says she can’t!

Here’s Steph’s quick little ditty on G-Form Kneepads, why she loves ’em, and why she uses them 24/7, 365!

I can use them for all of my sports!
Biking, paddle boarding, surfing, alsong with kayaking and tele skiing!

They are super low profile which is great when it’s hot out or I already have to wear a lot of gear… like snow pants or a dry suit.

If you’re wearing shorts they give you sun protection and the shin protection is great for rocky times (like biking and paddling rowdy rivers) and they make me feel like I look like some super cool robot.
