Thanks for reading. I agree, this is a major step forward for kayaking. Someone had to take the plunge, and WaveSport did it.

I work with some of the most innovative minds from all over the world. This development is a great mix of evolutionary progression which has likely lead to a revolutionary new direction for an entire industry.
Well done!

@Ken
I totally agree. Personally, I won't be paddling one this year, but I am looking forward to technology advancements like this that will push the limits of the sport. Surf boards are the same way too. They cost close to a grand for a good board, and there's no cockpit or outfitting.

Thanks for reading,

I think its a great idea. Push the boundarys of the sport but its definitely a boat for only some people. But I'm sure that in the future more people will have carbon kevlar boats. We have them in sea kayaking and they cost 6 grand. A 2500$ boat is the price you would pay for an nice FG sea kayak.

As a women, hunting the desire to link moves, combo moves. A boat that is 19lb, stiff as a board, will create possibilities for women like never before.

Bio-mechanically the weight reduction in the boat will be nothing but advantageous to women kayakers!

I can't wait to try one.

Send us some Photos!
