Personally, I won't be paddling one this year, but I am looking forward to technology advancements like this that will push the limits of the sport. Surf boards are the same way too. Push the boundarys of the sport but its definitely a boat for only some people. But I'm sure that in the future more people will have carbon kevlar boats. We have them in sea kayaking and they cost 6 grand. A 2500$ boat is the price you would pay for an nice FG sea kayak. I think its a great idea.
