Here’s a YouTube video of from the upper hole at 1000cfs. This video was shot a few days ago (July 16, 2009) by the South Main crew. These guys(and girl) make the new Jackson Star Series look very enticing.
This is a really cool promo video for the BV Pro Rodeo. The video primarily features the upper hole, as well as some reasons on why South Main is the ultimate destination spot for whitewater kayakers and outdoor lovers.
The second feature at the river park is called the “corner pocket”or the “staircase wave”. It’s really easy to find. Walk down a big staircase, and get in the water. Here’s Earl Richmond Stand Up Paddling at about 1500 cfs. For more information on Stand Up Paddling, click here.
